How will the new £28 million of funding to cut waiting lists be used to bolster the availability of beds in the Welsh NHS?

The new £28m funding package announced on 24 October is targeted to deliver agreed NHS plans developed by the health boards to reduce long waits. Additional activity relates to outpatients, diagnostic tests and treatments – most will be day cases.
