Question
Is the Welsh Government currently considering a proposal from Powys Teaching Health Board for a new health hub and facility in Newtown, and if so when will the Government be able to respond to the proposal?
Answer
Answered by Cabinet Secretary for Health and Social Care
As referenced in my reply to WQ94757, the Health Board has been asked to consider options around phasing the proposed development with funding from a range of sources, including traditional NHS capital and the Integration and Rebalancing Capital Fund. Once the revised proposal is received, my officials will scrutinise and provide advice for my consideration.
