Question
What action is the Welsh Government taking to tackle aggressive behaviour on trains?
Answer
Answered by Cabinet Secretary for Transport and North Wales
The Welsh Government funds the British Transport Police, providing more frontline resources to carry out their vital work, including tackling aggressive behaviour on trains. They work with Transport for Wales to carry out joint patrols to provide a visible presence across the network and hold shared briefings to target resources where they are most needed.
