Question
Will the Cabinet Secretary confirm what discussions they are having with the British Film Institute on encouraging more people to engage with film and the film industry?
Answer
Answered by Minister for Culture, Skills and Social Partnership
The Welsh Government, via Creative Wales, works closely with the British Film Institute on a number of issues that affect the screen industry in Wales. As an example, we have recently helped to secure a new BFI Skills Cluster for Wales which is providing £1.43M of funding for the new Siop Un Stop/One Stop Shop initiative which will benefit those looking to enter the screen sector in Wales as well as those already working in the sector.
