Question
Will the Cabinet Secretary provide an update on what support is available to golf clubs and golfing groups?
Answer
Answered by Minister for Culture, Skills and Social Partnership
The Welsh Government provides funding to Sport Wales which in turn is used to provide support to recognised National Governing Bodies, sports organisations and individual clubs via a range of specific grant schemes and initiatives. The Sport Wales “Kitbag”, which is free, contains a wealth of resources including information on financial management, volunteer recruitment, club promotion, on setting up a constitution and subcommittees, and many other aspects needed to run a successful club.
