Question
How much money does the Welsh Government plan to spend on flood prevention schemes in South Wales East over the next 10 years?
Answer
Answered by Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Secretary for Climate Change and Rural Affairs
It is for Risk Management Authorities (RMAs) to bring forward schemes for funding from our Flood Risk Management Programme. This year we have allocated record levels of funding to RMAs through our annual flood programme. We are committed to supporting those authorities and encourage proposals that help build a strong pipeline of projects to reduce flood risks and protect communities across Wales.
