Answer
Answered by Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Secretary for Climate Change and Rural Affairs
We support several important activities to aid mental health in rural communities, including the Wales Farm Support Group, which brings together farming charities to share knowledge and expertise.
The Welsh Government’s Farm Liaison Service staff are available to support farmers with queries relating to farming and rural schemes as well as policy areas funded by the Welsh Government.
My officials are working with Seafish on a number of Health, Safety and Wellbeing Roadshows planned for early in the new year. I would also encourage anyone who is struggling to reach out to The Fishermen’s Mission.
