Question
What support or funding will the Welsh Government provide to counter the risk of future flooding in areas of Pontypridd that have been affected by Storm Bert?
Answer
Answered by Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Secretary for Climate Change and Rural Affairs
It is for Risk Management Authorities (RMAs) such as Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council to bring forward schemes for funding from our Flood Risk Management Programme. This year we have made £75m available to RMAs to develop and construct flood alleviation schemes through our annual flood programme.
