When will the new dental contract be published, and will the Cabinet Secretary provide an update on its expected implementation?

The new GDS contract presents the first opportunity to truly embed the learning from years of dental reform. In Spring, we will be launching a consultation which will set out the transformative changes that will form the foundation of the new dental contract. This will provide an opportunity for dental professionals and the wider public to share their views and feedback on the policy direction. We recognise the importance of a good lead in time to allow for adequate planning and communication for the effective implementation of reform.
