Will the Cabinet Secretary confirm if any ongoing or planned projects will be impacted by the reduction in applications allowed per local authority for the active travel fund grant?

It is unlikely that there will be significant impacts. In previous years the Active Travel Fund has been oversubscribed, and allowing local authorities to submit multiple applications has resulted in considerable work being undertaken without a realistic prospect of attracting funding or having the capacity to deliver the whole programme.
