Question
How much has the Cabinet Secretary's department spent implementing the Welsh Government's Anti-Racist Wales Action Plan within the Welsh NHS?
Answer
Answered by Cabinet Secretary for Health and Social Care
Embedding the aims of the Welsh Government’s National Equality Diversity and Inclusion plans within NHS Wales, including the Anti-Racist Wales Action Plan requires an intersectional and cross cutting approach. Day to day implementation of the plan across the NHS is a matter for Local Health Boards and Trusts. Therefore, it is not possible to calculate a total cost as all policy areas contribute either directly or indirectly to ensure alignment with our statutory responsibilities set out in the Equality Act 2010, and the Public Services Equality Duty.
