Question
What action is the Welsh Government taking to increase the recruitment rates of nurses in Wales?
Answer
Answered by Cabinet Secretary for Health and Social Care
We continue to invest in the sustainability of our NHS workforce. Thanks to our continued support for training new nurses, international recruitment, and improved retention, the number of nurses in the NHS (full-time equivalent) has increased by 10% compared to three years ago.
