Question
Will the Cabinet Secretary set out how the Health and Social Care (Wales) Bill will impact businesses in the children’s services sector considering the Bill is at Stage 4?
Answer
Answered by Minister for Children and Social Care
The anticipated implications of the Health and Social Care (Wales) Bill (“The Bill”) upon affected organisations are set out in the Explanatory Memorandum as laid before the Senedd at the conclusion of stage 2 scrutiny. The EM/RIA is currently being revised to reflect the Bill as passed and will be re-published shortly. Welsh Government officials continue to engage with stakeholder representatives and organisations including Cwmpas to consider support to those organisations potentially considering reestablishing under one of the four not-for-profit models.
