What steps have been taken to improve the safety of the A494 from Dolgellau to Corwen over the past four years?

Since 2021 to improve safety on the A494 from Dolgellau to Corwen we implemented improvements along four sections of the road by way of new or improved warning signs and road markings. The locations being at: the bends between Glanyrafon and the junction to Llawrbetws, the bends west of Capel Einon Llanuwchllyn, the junction to Hen Gapel Llanuwchllyn and at Cyffordd Y Prys Llanuwchllyn. 20mph also came into force through Bala.
