Question
What discussions has the Welsh Government had with MCC Cwmbran in order to save jobs at the MCC factory on the Llantarnam Industrial Estate, and throughout the South East Wales region?

My officials met with the company on 10th February to explore solutions to retain the operation at Cwmbran.
If the outcome of the consultation exercise were to be that the site will close, our priority would be to work with the company to support the affected employees into new jobs. We have a proven partnership approach which involves DWP, Careers Wales and the Local Authority employability teams that provides advice and guidance across benefits, CV writing, interviewing skills and retraining packages through ReACT Plus.
