Question
What discussions has the Cabinet Secretary had with Welsh police forces about rural crime?
Answer
Answered by Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Secretary for Climate Change and Rural Affairs
Ministerial meetings are already available online here: Ministerial meetings and engagements | GOV.WALES.
The Welsh Government is committed to tackling wildlife and rural crime in Wales, including hare coursing.
We continue to fund the Wales Wildlife & Rural Crime Coordinator post which acts as a conduit between the Welsh Government and the Welsh polices forces, regularly meeting with the Wales Rural lead and the UK Wildlife & Rural Crime lead and feeding back to my officials.
