Further to WQ96355, what discussions has the Cabinet Secretary had with the All Wales Medicines Strategy Group regarding reviewing the current All Wales Adult Asthma Management and Prescribing Guideline published in February 2024?

The Cabinet Secretary has not had any discussions with the All Wales Medicines Strategy Group (AWMSG) regarding the All-Wales adult asthma management and prescribing guideline, published in February 2024.
The AWMSG is an advisory committee established by the Welsh Ministers to provide independent expert advice on access to and the use of medicines in Wales. Its guidelines are developed in accordance with robust methods, are subject to consultation and are periodically reviewed. The All Wales adult asthma management and prescribing guideline is currently under review with an updated guideline expected to be published later this year.
