Question
Will the Cabinet Secretary confirm whether the new direct service between Holyhead and Manchester Airport that will be introduced in May 2026 will be timetabled to stop at Llanfairfechan, Penmaenmawr and Conwy town?
Answer
Answered by Cabinet Secretary for Transport and North Wales
Transport for Wales confirm that, as part of delivering the 50 per cent increase in services on the North Wales Main Line in May 2026, the service from Manchester Airport will be extended to Holyhead. It is planned that this service will call at Llanfairfechan, Penmaenmawr and Conwy Stations, subject to the final validation of the timetable by Network Rail as per normal rail industry processes.
