Question
How many Welsh Government-owned toilet sites on the trunk road network in Wales currently have temporary toilet facilities on site, what are the locations of these facilities and the timescales for when the permanent toilet facilities will be reopened?
Answer
Answered by Cabinet Secretary for Transport and North Wales
There are 2 No. Welsh Government owned toilet sites on the North & Mid Wales trunk road network that currently have temporary toilet facilities on site; A40 Llansantffread (near Bwlch, Brecon) and A483 Llananno (between Llandrindod Wells and Newtown). Both sites are located in the county of Powys. The existing sewage discharge systems at these locations are inadequate. Officials are considering options for these sites.
