Why was the publication of the Welsh Government’s Strategic Equality and Human Rights Plan 2025-2029 delayed from 2024 to 2025?

Bringing together our strategic equality and human rights ambitions for the first time, in line with the recommendations of the Strengthening and Advancing Equality and Human Rights Report, required extensive engagement.
Cabinet approved the final plan in May 2025.
