Question
Will the Cabinet Secretary outline whether the Welsh Government receives any benefits, including revenue, from GoSafe?
Answer
Answered by Cabinet Secretary for Transport and North Wales
This financial year we have provided £3.6million to GoSafe, of which £600k is for roadside engagement. The Review of GoSafe funding is complete and funding to the partnership will continue. Whilst the Welsh Government does not receive any income from GoSafe, the partnership to improve road safety on Welsh Roads, does of course bring many benefits to Wales as we seek to continue to reduce the number of people killed or seriously injured on our roads.
