Question
How much education maintenance allowance funding has been distributed per local authority this year?
Answer
Answered by Minister for Further and Higher Education
The Welsh Government does not collect EMA payment data by local authority.
Volumes of EMA applications, received and approved, are published at local authority level at the end of each academic year on our Stats Wales website. The latest full academic year available is 2023/24 and can be found here. 2024/25 data is provisionally set to be published in November.
