How many businesses have been directly engaged by the Welsh Government in the last 12 months in relation to supporting them with their export activity?

Our Export Action Plan sets out a comprehensive range of programmes to support businesses in Wales to develop existing and new overseas markets for their products and services. Around 1,000 businesses have been directly engaged in Welsh Government export support between 1 April 2024 and 31 March 2025. This includes support and activities to inspire businesses to take up exporting, build their export capability, find potential new clients in overseas markets and visit target markets.
