Question
Will the Cabinet Secretary outline how someone can apply for a home that's part of Leasing Scheme Wales, and is the rent paid by the tenant capped as per the local housing allowance rate in their area?
Answer
Answered by Cabinet Secretary for Housing and Local Government
Leasing Scheme Wales properties are allocated as part of a local authority’s housing allocation process. Leasing Scheme Wales properties held by local authorities are all let at the Local Housing Allowance rate applicable to the area.
