Will the Cabinet Secretary undertake emergency discussions with Conwy County Borough Council given the local authority's projection that they are facing around a £20 million financial shortfall in 2026-27?

Locally elected members will consider a range of scenarios as part of their responsibility for managing the Council budget and business planning framework.
I continue to meet Local Government Leaders individually and collectively to discuss financial and service matters. I will do so again in the Finance Sub Group meetings during the autumn.
