Will the Cabinet Secretary provide an update on when the post of Chief Allied Health Professional Officer Wales will be advertised?

The Chief Allied Health Professional is a key role for Welsh Government and the wider health and care system and a strong professional voice is vital. We are committed to ensuring this post is filled.
Following the previous postholder’s retirement, an external recruitment campaign was undertaken. Unfortunately, despite a large field of applicants, the process did not result in the Welsh Government appointing to the role.
It is our intention the post will be re-advertised shortly.
