What plans does the Cabinet Secretary have to ensure prescribers of anti-depressants have access to the Maudsley Deprescribing Guidelines to enable them to support patients who want to stop their drug through tapering, a slow stepwise rate of reduction proportionate to the existing dose, as recommended in the NICE Guidelines?

All healthcare professionals in NHS Wales have access to resources to support de-prescribing, including the Maudsley’s guidelines Safe Deprescribing of Antidepressants.
