Question
What discussions has the Cabinet Secretary had with universities regarding the availability of in-person courses in religion and theology?
Answer
Answered by Minister for Further and Higher Education
As autonomous institutions, universities are responsible for their own academic affairs, including decisions on course provision and delivery.
I have asked Medr to undertake a mapping exercise of demand and delivery of courses across the sector, the initial findings of which will be published soon. This will help Welsh Government, Medr and the sector consider how we can ensure the continued delivery of a diverse range of subjects across Wales.
