Question
When did the Cabinet Secretary last review the possibility of reintroducing the Cardiff to Ynys Môn air link?
Answer
Answered by Cabinet Secretary for Transport and North Wales
I haven’t reviewed the possibility of reintroducing the Cardiff to Ynys Mon air link since the then Deputy Minister for Climate Change made a decision to cease all support for the service following a full cost-benefit analysis of the future of the air service in June 2022.

Following that decision, the passenger terminal facility of Anglesey Airport was decommissioned, and the building lease between Anglesey Council and the Ministry of Defence was terminated.
