The Welsh Government assesses the NHS Wales App as an effective, increasingly used platform, with more than 720,000 downloads and more than 3.5m repeat prescriptions to date. Sustained uptake of core functions, its bilingual design, inclusive identity verification and expanding feature set indicate that the app is improving access, supporting patient engagement and strengthening national digital capability.
