Will the Cabinet Minister confirm what support will be available to Swansea Ophthalmology Department to address a possible collapse of the urgent eyecare on-call rota at Hywel Dda University Health Board?

Responsibility for the delivery and resilience of NHS services, including on-call rotas, rests with health boards.
The Welsh Government works with NHS Wales to support services where risks to continuity are identified. This includes supporting workforce planning, regional collaboration and service resilience.
We will continue to engage with health boards to ensure safe and effective urgent care provision.
