Question
How much funding has the Welsh Government received as a result of the UK Government’s announcement of £1.5 billion funding for cultural organisations?
Answer
Answered by Trefnydd, Chief Whip and Cabinet Minister for Culture and Sport (Heledd Fychan)
The UK Government’s package to restore national pride is being funded from within existing UK departmental budgets which will not lead to additional Barnett consequentials for the Welsh Government. The Arts Everywhere Fund is an England only fund and therefore cultural organisations in Wales will not benefit from this funding.
