Question
What are the Welsh Government’s legislative priorities for the Welsh language in this Senedd?
Answer
Answered by Cabinet Minister for Education and the Welsh Language (Anna Brychan)
Legislating is an integral part of our work programme for the Welsh language. In addition to subordinate legislation to implement the Welsh Language and Education Act, the Government will consider how primary legislation can support Welsh-speaking communities, expand Welsh-language services and protect Welsh place names.
