Question
What plans does the Welsh Government have to review article 4 planning restrictions?
Answer
Answered by Cabinet Minister for Local Government, Housing and Planning (Siân Gwenllian)
Planning authorities can use a direction power under article 4 of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 1995 to restrict the use of national permitted development rights for different types of development. We will be holding a consultation on the use of permitted development rights.
