Will the Cabinet Minister provide an update about the progress of electronic patient record systems in ophthalmology, including referral systems from primary care, in line with the timeline promised by the outgoing administration?

The national digital programme to implement an electronic referral system is now implemented across all health boards in full or in part with wider rollout continuing into 2026–27. This reflects substantial progress, albeit later than earlier planned
