How does the Welsh Government monitor the use of any funding provided to health boards for services for people with long COVID?

Health boards receive funding for their Adferiad (Recovery) services for people with Long Covid and other post infection associated illness as part of their overall discretionary funding allocation. As such, that funding is not separately identified within financial monitoring returns.
From a policy perspective, monitoring and assurance is undertaken through submission of an annual report template, followed by a meeting with health board service leads.
