Question
How many pharmacies provide dossette boxes free of charge in Wales?
Answer
Answered by Cabinet Minister for Health and Care (Mabon ap Gwynfor)
The Welsh Government does not hold information on the number of pharmacies providing free multicompartment compliance aids, such as dossette boxes. These aids are not part of NHS contractual arrangements. Pharmacies must consider their duties under the Equality Act 2010 and, where appropriate and reasonable, make adjustments to ensure access for people with disabilities. Any such reasonable adjustments must be provided free of charge.
