The catering provision is funded through the Senedd Commission’s agreed annual budget. This funding supports the availability of an on-site catering service for Members, their support staff, Commission staff, visitors and those engaging with the Senedd’s work.

Catering services at the Senedd are not based on price subsidies for food and items for sale, but rather on the cost of providing the services across various catering outlets.

The total amount spent during the Sixth Senedd on supporting the catering provision, was £1.9million. This figure reflects the net cost of the service after income received through sales and other catering activity.
