Question
What consideration has the Cabinet Minister given to promoting the cultural significance of the 13 historic counties in Wales?
Answer
Answered by Trefnydd, Chief Whip and Cabinet Minister for Culture and Sport (Heledd Fychan)
I recognise the deep cultural and historic importance of places across Wales. The identities, traditions and heritage associated with historic counties continue to contribute to our understanding of Wales’s past and to the distinctiveness of communities today.
In developing the new culture, heritage and sport strategy I will be exploring how we can better recognise and support the cultural identity of all communities and places across Wales.
