Question
Is the £10 million investment for the Nature Networks Fund that was announced on 23 June 2026 new funding or was it previously allocated to the scheme?
Answer
Answered by Cabinet Minister for Rural Resilience and Sustainability (Llyr Gruffydd)
The £10million investment for the Nature Networks Fund will restore biodiversity, create jobs and strengthen connections between communities and the natural environment. This funding was agreed in principle as part of the 2026-27 budget allocations.
