What steps is the Cabinet Minister taking to provide funding for local authorities to switch users' telecare services from analogue to digital?

Local Authorities are funded by Welsh Government through the Local Government Revenue and Capital settlement. The analogue switch-off was first announced by the telecoms industry in 2018, and Local Authorities are expected to have planned for that within existing budgets.
Welsh Government has established a cross public sector working group on the switch-off, which includes representatives from Local Authorities, to highlight areas of common interest and share good practice and solutions including the upgrade of telecare.
