Question
Will the Welsh Government bring forward any new measures to help manage GP workloads?
Answer
Answered by Cabinet Minister for Health and Care (Mabon ap Gwynfor)
Welsh Government officials work closely with NHS Wales and GP representative bodies to improve service delivery, support sustainable workloads and maintain patient access.
Our commitments to strengthen primary care capacity, including recruiting more GPs and increasing the share of funding directed to primary care, will further support sustainable workloads for practices.
