What consideration has the Cabinet Minister given to reopening the accident and emergency department at the Royal Gwent Hospital in Newport?

The health board is responsible for planning and delivering services based on an assessment of population need. It has no plans to reopen the Royal Gwent major emergency department which continues to open 24/7 and provide minor injuries unit services and receive acute medical patients.
