Does the Welsh Ambulance Services University NHS Trust have a formal written policy that sets out the role and responsibilities of buddies who supervise newly qualified emergency medical dispatchers in the absence of a mentor?

The Welsh Government does not routinely hold detailed operational information or guidance of this nature.
Responsibility for ensuring compliance with clinical call-handling requirements, including arrangements for training, competency assessment, supervision and the role of supervisory ‘buddies’, rests with the Welsh Ambulance Services University NHS Trust through its established clinical governance and quality assurance processes.
