Question
Further to WQ98513, will the Cabinet Minister provide a breakdown of the £16.9 million funding for south-west Wales by local authority area?
Answer
Answered by Deputy Minister for Transport (Mark Hooper)
The £16.9 million allocated to south-west Wales through the Bus Network Grant (BNG) and Bus Services Support Grant (BSSG) is provided to the region via the regional lead authority, Swansea City Council. Funding is then distributed across constituent local authorities based on an agreed regional approach, reflecting local transport needs and priorities determined collectively by the authorities within the region.
