Question
What is the Welsh Government's policy on whether people should be able to fly Union flags in Wales, and what action is the Welsh Government taking to prevent their removal by pro-independence campaigners?
Answer
Answered by First Minister (Rhun ap Iorwerth)
Freedom of expression is protected under the Human Rights Act, as is the right to peaceful protest. Any flag flying must be compliant with the law as should the actions of those who chose to protest against them.
