Question
Further to WQ99118, what is the Cabinet Minister doing to promote the historic sites and significance of Newport in its tourism offer?
Answer
Answered by Cabinet Minister for Enterprise, Connectivity and Energy (Adam Price)
Historic sites in Newport are featured in Visit Wales content on websites and social media, and Visit Wales’ Travel Trade activity highlights the history and heritage of Newport to UK and international tour operators.
Alongside this, Cadw works with partners to conserve and promote Caerleon's internationally important Roman remains, helping visitors to explore Newport's rich heritage and strengthening the city's tourism offer.
