Question
What progress has the Cabinet Minister made in convening a Future Skills Summit?
Answer
Answered by Deputy Minister for Skills and Tertiary Education (Cefin Campbell)
Good progress is being made. The Summit will take place on 8 October at the Swansea.com Stadium. It will bring together representatives from business, further and higher education, and other key stakeholders to develop a shared vision and strategic direction for the future skills system and its funding, while identifying opportunities for early action.
I hope to issue invitations very shortly.
