What is the estimated cost of implementing a 3.5 per cent pay award for teachers and school leaders, expressed as: a) the cost from the date of implementation until the end of March 2027, and b) the full-year annual cost?

The cost of implementing a 3.5% pay award for all teachers and school leaders, has been modelled at £39.84m from 1 September 2026 until the end of March 2027 and £68.30m for the full academic year.
