Question
What consideration has the Welsh Government given to using Wales's historic counties as the basis for local government reorganisation?
Answer
Answered by Cabinet Minister for Local Government, Housing and Planning (Siân Gwenllian)
Reorganisation of the principal local authorities is not a priority for this government. Our priority is working with councils within existing structures to enable them to find their solutions to support long-term sustainability.
